Are there any discounted registration fees?
Enjoy early bird discount on registration fees up till 31 December 2017. Students are also offered discounted fees.
What is Included in the registration fee?
The conference registration fee* includes:
1. 3-day conference
2. 3-day Zurich ZVV ticket for trams and buses within Zurich
*Accommodation is not included in the registration fee.
Are there any preferential rates for accommodation bookings?
Accommodation is not included in the conference registration fee. Specially negotiated prices for selected hotels for the period of 11 – 18 February 2018 are available here until 10 January 2018.
Are meals included?
The conference fees include daily morning and afternoon refreshment and lunch. The organisers will also host a conference reception in the evening of the second day on 15 February 2018.
What modes of payment are accepted?
Only credit card payment is accepted on the registration page. Payment by cash/bank transfer/cheque is not accepted.
Will I need a visa?
You may enter Swiss territory without a visa if you are a citizen of the European Union (EU) or the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and in possession of a valid recognised identity document. Please refer to the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs website for more information, visit the online visa page, or refer to your nearest embassy or consulate
How can I obtain an invitation letter for my visa application?
You can request for your invitation letter via email firstname.lastname@example.org upon registration.
How do I get to the conference venue?
The conference will take place at the ETH Zurich main building: Rämistrasse 101, 8092 Zürich, Switzerland. The campus is well connected by bus and tram. You will find more information on traveling to Zurich and visitor information here. The hotels selected by the organisers are chosen for their accessibility to the conference venue, please refer to the hotels here.
What are the guidelines for my oral/poster presentation?
All presenters would have received guidelines to help you prepare for your presentation via email in the first week of January 2018. If you have not received the guidelines, please contact the organising committee at email@example.com
Are presenters required to submit full papers?
No, submission of full papers is not required.
Will conference proceedings be published?
No. The organisers will not be producing a compilation of conference proceedings. Instead, selected papers will be selected for publication in journals.
